Only 4 days to the Sydney Bachata Festival...

Bachata Festival is here! All our international and interstate guests start arriving in Sydney this week! ATACA & LA ALEMANA are already here! So get ready for an amazing week of Bachata and Latin dance celebrations!

EVENT SCHEDULE

THURSDAY, 26th of APRIL

OFFICIAL PRE-PARTY Best place to start the celebrations. Join us for dinner with all the Internationals (Domenic Marte, Ataca, La Alemana, Troy, Jorjet, Fabrice, Joanna and Serena).
Dinner starts at 7pm.

Enjoy a Bachata class by Corrie and Izzy (at 8:30pm and party afterwards).
Party starts at 9pm with shows, plus guest appearance by D. MARTE.

Note: It is recommended to collect your wristband for the weekend at the Pre-Party
to avoid long delays on Friday morning.

Nestor Manuelian & Katrina Quintal bring home the highly anticipated 1st place trophy for the World Bachata Competition.

We are thrilled! Over the moon! Just absolutely stocked!!! - To be witness to such a gigantic achievement by our very own.

CONGRATULATIONS to you both!!

And a very exciting time for all the students that take classes with these two, to have the newly crowned world champions as your instructors.

REPRESENTING AUSTRALIA AS A JUDGE @ the WSC, from LDA LITTLE LIZ!!!
Another HUGE congratulations goes out to our very own LITTLE LIZ. She was selected as one of the judges alongside some of the most respected dancers in the world. An amazing achievement highlights a very successful International career.

JAIME JESUS AND KAT KOULIZAKIS from LDA were contracted in the role of stage managers for the WSC. A huge responsibility, which the organisers of the event knew, was a massive job, and they trusted no one more from around the world the dynamic due of Jaime and Kat, The Event Organisers www.theorganisers.com.au

A HUGE congrats to the LDA ZOUK TEAM, LDA INT SAMBA TEAM, LDA ON2 TEAM and SANDRA & KAT representing LDA with their exhibition shows in front of a full house @ the WSC.

Introduced onto the stage numerous times as “THE ONE AND ONLY, JAIME JESUS” he represented all that was best about LDA & AUSTRALIA!, Professionalism, entertainment and humour sending people into hysterics with his funny entertaining MCing throughout the event.

BE PART OF SETTING A WORLD RECORD!

You like the idea? Then JOIN LDA and MOONLIGHT CINEMAS as we try to set the GUINNESS WORLD RECORD for the BIGGEST SALSA CLASS ever taught!

We need to get over 800 participants and 600 tickets have been sold already but we are looking to reach 2000! Even better, the venue hosts 2300 people so let's make it a FULL HOUSE!!!

All you need to do is JOIN us at the the Moonlight Cinemas on TUESDAY 17th JANUARY 2012.

Join us from 6.30pm forward to break the record and then stay the night to watch the movie 'DIRTY DANCING' on the huge outdoor screens!

Everyone is welcome, whether you are experienced or not. Bring your friends and your family for what will be great evening of fun and dance.

We are calling out to ALL SYDNEY SALSEROS to help put SYDNEY and AUSTRALIA on the record books for SALSA!
